A "Childhood Memory" Xmas photo taken at the old Woodward's Wonderful Toyland on Hastings in Vancouver. 1960

"1942 - This was taken on his furlough at Christmas time. That's the dog kennel behind but there's chickens in it now."

While at the S.A., I came across a few "spy cameras" - very small, cheap plastic things that took a certain type of film and weren't much bigger than the roll of film itself. A few had partially-used rolls still in them. This is from one.

One of "Foncie's Fotos" - Foncie Pulice, a Vancouver street photographer from 1946 to 1979 who shot strangers and, if they wanted, could pay him like a dollar or so and he'd send the photo to their address.

Found in a book while in high school. Probably taken with one of those 'tin-can' cameras we learned to make in science class.

Appearing to be a staff photo from the Majorette Coffee Shop which was located in Victoria, B.C.
